Former India all-rounder Karsan Ghavri expressed his anguish over the spinning track rolled out for Saturday’s India vs Pakistan World T20 game at Kolkata.

Ghavri (65), who also coached Bengal, wrote on his Facebook page: “BCCI, please stop making such wickets for such a massive an event like this 20/20 World Cup! (These) Kind of wickets kill the game! Such an important game like Ind/Pak millions R watching over the globe & wicket provided to them is just rubbish & unsporting!”
Ghavri, a senior Mumbai selector, praised his association for Friday’s England vs South Africa track on which England chased 230 to stun the Proteas. Ghavri ended his post with the words, “Such wickets (like the ones at Wankhede) are required for cricket-loving people around the globe! Wake up Indian authorities!
