Indian captain Virat Kohli notched up his 18th successful ODI century during chases and surpassed cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar's record

Virat Kohli scored an unbeaten century enroute to India's thrilling eight-wicket-win over hosts West Indies in the fifth and final ODI in order to clinch the series 3-1.
In doing so, Virat Kohli also notched up his 18th successful ODI century during a chase and surpassed Sachin Tendulkar's record.

The master blaster now has the most successful ODI hundred in chasing by any batsman in cricket history.
Sachin Tendulkar achieved his record in 232 ODI innings whereas Virat Kohli has claimed 18 successful ODI tons in chasing in just 102 innings. Sri Lanka's Tillakaratne Dilshan ranks third in most centuries while chasing successfully with 16.
Virat Kohli has also become the first Indian captain to score two hundreds against West Indies in their hometown.
Virat Kohli also scored his 28th ODI century overall and is now the joint-third highest along with Sanath Jayasuriya and is behind Sachin Tendulkar and Ricky Ponting.
