MS Dhoni is one the most popular cricketers in the world. And it was proved once again when a cricket lover wore a jersey with the Indian limited-overs skipper's name and number. But the twist in the tale was that while the jersey was a Pakistani ODI one, the name and lucky no 7 on the back belonged to Dhoni.

The fan, who was spotted at the MCG during the second Test between Australia and Pakistan, created quite stir and his image has gone viral on social media.

While the rivalry between the Indian and Pakistani teams is one of the fiercest in world cricket, the fans share a common love for the game and each others players and have even braved jail to express their love for their idols. While at the beginning of the year, a Virat Kohli fan was arrested in Pakistan for hoisting the Indian flag, recently a Shahid Afridi fan was arrested in India for sporting a Pakistan jersey.

Since making his debut in 2004, Dhoni has been one of India's most successful cricketers and captains. He has scored 4876 and 9110 runs in Tests and ODIs respectively. Under his leadership, the Men of Blue have also won the ICC World T20 in 2007, World Cup in 2011, ICC Champions Trophy in 2013 and also reached the top of the Test rankings in 2009.
