The contribution was made into Mukhya Mantri Rahat Kosh (C. M. Relief Funds) to provide relief for the victims of the nature-hit tragedy.

India cricketers Harbhajan Singh and Bhuvneshwar Kumar had also come out to help the affected people. Heavy rains and subsequent flash floods have killed hundreds and left several thousand missing in the hill state.u00a0
