Aris Thessaloniki officials were left red-faced after Tuesday's Europa League tie with Manchester City, when it emerged a spoof photo of their opponents had made its way into the match day programme.
The false image, which shows a 60-man squad containing the world's top football talent including Wayne Rooney, Lionel Messi, Kaka, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Fernando Torres, was spotted by City chief executive Garry Cook before the game.
Despite the City hierarchy taking the mistake in good humour, the Greek club's bosses were so embarrassed they immediately stopped the distribution of the programme.
