Pakistan were all out for 239 in their second innings of second Test match against New Zealand on Saturday morning, setting Black Caps a difficult target of 405 runs with two days to follow.

Pakistan crumbled in the middle session, squandering seven wickets for just 59 as Chris Martin and Grant Elliott both sat on hat-tricks. However, neither bowler could complete the feat.

Pakistan were well set on 180 for three at lunch, with Mohammad Yousuf settled and Umar Akmal in a destructive mood. Martin triggered the slide by ending Akmal's explosive 52 from 33 balls. And then, snared skipper Yousuf, who top scored with 83.

Grant Elliott then claimed the wickets of Shoaib Malik and Kamran Akmal with successive balls of his first over.

Iain O'Brien also maintained the rage to close with four for 66.
