BCCI'S veteran administrator Niranjan Shah suffered a major setback on Saturday when he was not given any post.
Sources say that Shah, whose term as vice president had come to an end, was ignored for other posts because he was building an opposition camp to defeat Srinivasan in the elections.
It can be recalled that the Rajkot-based administrator called for a fresh probe into the spot fixing controversy. He had said that the Board’s “image has really gone down.” Another reason for Shah not being given any post was because Srinivasan had promised positions to those who stayed loyal to him.u00a0
