To make the occasion more special, the Delhi dasher turns 27 today. "It's a very exciting day for me tomorrow, captaining in my first Test in home conditions.

Secondly, it's my birthday as well so it doubles up the excitement for tomorrow," Kohli said on the eve of the first Test against South Africa here.
Test cricket returns to India after almost two years and this period saw the baton change hands from Dhoni to the youthful Kohli.
Captaincy has worked well for Kohli as he has scored 696 runs in six matches at an average 63.27 with four centuries.
The Indian skipper maintains that the new role hasn't changed him as a person. "Only thing that has changed is that I have got 40 grey hair in my beard," he said jokingly.
"I am the same person as when I started playing for India. Obviously, you make mistakes and you learn from them along the way," he said.
