Former India cricketer Mohammad Kaif gave a befitting reply after he was trolled for posting a picture on Facebook last week playing chess with his son, Kabir. He was asked to refrain from playing the game as it is prohibited in Islam.
Yesterday, Kaif, 36, took to Twitter and explained how chess is 'India's own invention' and should be played by everyone. "When u are playing a sport, it's one of d best ways to break barriers of caste, creed, religion. #Sports Beyond Religion," he wrote.
Well played, Kaifu!
