It was an epic moment when 'Captain Cool' MS Dhoni and his on-screen avatar Sushant Singh Rajput met megastar Rajinikanth on Friday.

The two were promoting the Dhoni biopc 'M.S. Dhoni - The Untold Story' in the city.

Sushant shared an image from the meeting on Twitter, while Dhoni shared the video of the meeting live on Facebook.

Dhoni had a busy day in Chennai as he visited the Satyam Cinemas to promote the film, enthralled the crowd by copying his screen idol Rajinikanth and uttering lines from the superstar’s films.

Starring Sushant Singh Rajput, Kiara Advani and Disha Patani, 'M.S. Dhoni - The Untold Story' is directed by Neeraj Pandey.

Produced by Arun Pandey (Inspired Entertainment) and Fox Star studios, the film is slated to hit theatres on September 30, 2016.
