England's erstwhile batsman, who is now their batting coach, Mark Ramprakash was delighted to catch up with former Mumbai captain and occasional mid-day columnist Shishir Hattangadi over the phone the other day.

Hattangadi, who now lives in Ahmedabad, shared an apartment with Ramprakash and former Mumbai pace bowler Anup Sabnis in Nairobi where they played club cricket together in the 1980s.

Ramprakash tweeted: "@shishhattangadi Great to speak with you mate, great memories from Nairobi 89, millimani road, marsala tea, Hindi movies, Mr Sabnis !" Old friends never forget!
