It's honeymoon time for Rohit Sharma and Ritika Sajdeh!

Mumbai batsman Rohit Sharma and his wife Ritika Sajdeh have finally taken off on their much awaited honeymoon. The Indian opener took to twitter to post a picture along with his wife in an aircraft.

He also went on to praise the airlines they are travelling by.

His wife Ritika took to photo sharing website Instagram to with a post saying '#1'. Rohit Sharma went on to repost the picture saying 'it's been a year already'.

Rohit had a busy schedule with the Indian Premier League 9 edition which began in April and ended last month.

Rohit and Ritika are childhood friends. They were engaged in April 2015 and went on to tie the knot on 13th December 2015.

Rohit Sharma is rested for the upcoming Zimbabwe tour and he is making sure to use his time wisely.
