Mumbai Indians were on the brink of their fourth consecutive defeat before a heroic batting effort from James Franklin (45 not out) and a last-ball six from Ambati Rayudu helped them beat Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens on Sunday.

There's a lot more at stake when both teams meet in the IPL Eliminator at the Wankhede today. The winner will make it to Qualifier Two and also book a Champions League T20 berth, while the losing team is knocked out of the competition.

Former New Zealand pacer Danny Morrison felt Mumbai have the spark to win. "Mumbai have got the push they were badly looking for. I am sure their confidence will be at all-time high after their sensational win over KKR.

That's exactly what they wanted (after a string of loses)," Morrison, a commentator here, told MiD DAY yesterday.u00a0

Former India spinner Laxman Sivaramakrishnan was however, reluctant to put his money on any team. "T20 is a different ball game. There are no favourites. It requires just one brilliant performance to win a match. Anybody could click tomorrow... Sachin Tendulkar or Yusuf Pathan. It is very tough to say what will happen. No one would have expected Mumbai to win their last match, but they did. I am keeping my fingers crossed."
