IPL Auction 2017: Top 10 probable big-money draws

Ben Stokes (England)
Base price: Rs 2 crore
A top quality all-rounder, now Test vice-captain too. He's a utility player if ever there was one available for the IPL. He's in the mix for the first time.

Chris Woakes (England)
Base price: Rs 2 crore
Another first-timer, his all-round utility will interest teams. The only thing against him is his probable non-availability.

Eoin Morgan (England)
Base price: Rs 2 crore
He has travelled a bit in the IPL, but has enhanced his profile as England's white-ball captain. His batting ability should interest franchises.

Ishant Sharma (India)
Base price: Rs 2 crore
Now a Test specialist, he is struggling to make the cut in white ball squads. His high point was being picked by KKR in 2008 at US$950,000. He's tapered a bit, but will interest teams.

Angelo Mathews (Sri Lanka)
Base price: Rs 2 crore
The Sri Lankan captain has been injury-plagued and has had a chequered IPL career. His recent all-round form should increase the franchises' interest in him.

Jason Roy (England)
Base price: Rs 1 crore
He can be of interest to sides looking for a hard-hitting opener. He has rejuvenated England's white-ball cricket, so expect the same when he turns out for the first time in the IPL.

Kagiso Rabada (South Africa)
Base price: Rs 1 crore
His swift rise from U-19 to senior team spearhead will attract attention. His pace and ability to take wickets will interest franchises.

Tymal Mills (England)
Base price: Rs 50 lakh
This 90-plus mph bowler, who is now a T20 specialist, will be chased by many in his very first stint. His decent economy rate and dot ball percentage will be an attraction.

Mohd Shahzad (Afghanistan)
Base price: Rs 50 lakh
This Dhoni fan always wants to bat like the Indian, but lacks the fitness of his idol. He still scores at breakneck speed. His presence as back-up wicket-keeper may strike a chord too.

Mohammad Nabi (Afghanistan)
Base price: Rs 30 lakh
An unsung hero, who has been in the pool previously but was never picked up. He could be a bargain buy given his off-spin combined with his batting abilities.
