Some of Delhi's daredevils' tried their hand at being matadors and dog catchers, but failed miserably at their 'alternative careers'.

Among the cricketers who have failed at their "back-up careers" are India's young find Rishab Pant, Australian pacer Nathan Coulter-Nile and South African all-rounder Chris Morris. The trio has been in fine form in IPL 9, but not so much in non-cricketing matters. They had to change jobs in the middle of a game recently, all thanks to man's best friend, and lost to the mutt.

The four-legged intruder recently took the three Daredevils on a merry-go-round with the crowds cheering the canine on at Visakhapatnam on Tuesday during the IPL game vs Rising Pune Supergiants.
Dogs have made numerous appearances on the cricket field in the past and halted the game and it happened once again during the RPS innings.

The players were seen scurrying around the ground trying to get the 'intruder' out, but the lively mutt led the cricketers and groundstaff on a chase around the stadium.
Pant initially tried to shoo away the invader after it settled down beside him five balls into the second inning. But the dog was an image of calmness and joy as it kept wagging its tail as it seemed to be enjoying its time in the limelight to be shooed away.
The dog seemed to have somethings to discuss with the umpire.
Delhi's foreign imports Morris and Coulter-Nile then got into the act. While Coulter-Nile waved a blue towel at it like a matador, Morris tried the more sweet and cuddly appraoch. Ultimately, the groundstaff chased way the 'intruder'.

The brief interlude didn't affect the concentration of Rising Pune Supergiants' opener Ajinkya Rahane, who scored an unbeaten 42 to help his team beat Delhi in the rain-shortened game.
