Hosts RCF started their campaign with a 27 run win over RBI in the RCF Corporate T20 tournament for the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Cup.

Put into bat, RCF scored 137-9, as opener Taranjeet Singh top scored with 35 getting good support from Ravi Solanki, who scored 27.

RBI’s left arm spinners Jay Nayak (4-31) and Laxman Manjrekar (3-27) bowled with great control to restrict the RCF batsmen.

RBI never got any momentum after that as they were bowled out for 110 in 19.5 overs.

In another clash, Western Railway (WR) knocked out defending champions Nirlon by 35 runs to enter the semi-finals.
