When India's star all-rounder Hardik Pandya posted a picture of his unique hairstyle he is currently flaunting, many tried to find the person responsible for it. Reportedly, it is not an intentional thing but a mistake made by Shikhar Dhawan that was modified into what Pandya's hair looks like now. Talking to Gaurav Kapoor on Breakfast with Champions, Pandya told the story behind it.

Pandya said, "Shikhar Dhawan did this. I asked Shikhar to remove very small amount but he removed the whole baal [hair]. I said chalo koi nahi nikallo, apni khud ki kheti hai [I said you remove it, it's my own hair]. I can carry, I am pretty confident that I can carry it so it's OK."

Talking about his struggle, Pandya said: "No one knew that for three years we struggled for every penny. Even saving Rs 5/10 was a big struggle for us. But after the IPL we won and since then there has been no looking back."
