Virat Kohli's Indian team lost to Australia in the second Twenty20 International at Guwahati by eight wickets but that was not all.

Former Indian captain MS Dhoni and current captain Virat Kohli set unique records of their own in T20Is during the match. MS Dhoni was stumped for the first time in T20I history when he was stumped by Tim Paine in Adam Zampa's over. This was MS Dhoni's 80th T20I. MS Dhoni has been stumped on five occasions in international cricket now. The last time Dhoni was stumped was during the 2011 World Cup.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli, who played his 52nd T20I, was dismissed for a duck by Australian fast bowler Jason Behrendorff. This is the latter's second T20 international. Virat Kohli has a record of playing most T20I innings before being dismissed for a duck.

India will play the third and final Twenty20 international on October 13.
