Mumbai Indians camp had a scare after Sachin Tendulkar suffered an injury on his finger during his brief stay at the crease.
Sachin Tendulkar sustained a finger injury on his left hand and retired hurt on 16 when he tried to fend a rising delivery from Chennai Super Kings quickie Doug Bollinger in the IPL-V opener here yesterday.
However, it was not clear whether it was fracture or a bruise. It was the fifth ball of the ninth over when Tendulkar, on 15, got hit on the glove by a short ball from Bollinger. However, he faced the next ball and got a single.
At the end of the over, he sought medical attention. Later, he looked in considerable pain at the dugout.u00a0
