Trevor (60), the youngest brother of Ian and Greg, told MiD DAY from Singapore where he is doing a coaching stint: “I was impressed with the catching and general enthusiasm with the ground fielding — great fielding and throw at the stumps towards the end of the (Pakistan) innings.”

Trevor attributed the lift in fielding standards to skipper Dhoni’s approach. He said: “Dhoni’s preparedness to go on the attack also plays its part. They are obviously confident with all aspects of their game at the moment.

As Ian mentions (in the senior Chappell’s SUNDAY MiD DAY column) the resurgence of the batting has been amazing.”u00a0
