"Huge score excites and entertains the spectators in a limited overs match. So keeping this in mind, we are attempting to make an ideal pitch for the clash," Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association pitch curator Samunder Singh Chauhan told PTI. He is hopeful that the upcoming match will be a thriller at the local Holkar stadium where three one-day matches had been hosted earlier.
In one of the three matches held on December 8, 2011, India had scored 418 runs and thrashed West Indies by 153 runs. It was the highest score by any team on this ground. The match is memorable as Virender Sehwag had created history by scoring 219 runs, which still remains etched in the minds of cricket fans.
