Ziva in Hebrew means radiance, brilliance, light or brightness.
After giving birth to her daughter, Sakshi had tweeted: "Welcome to the world beautiful Ziva! Mumma and Daddy adore you! Thanks for all of the well wishes! (sic)"
At the time of her birth, the baby weighed 3.7 kgs.
Sakshi had given birth at a private hospital in Gurgaon via C-section in February — just days before India, captained by Dhoni, began their defence of the ICC World Cup title.
A day after becoming a proud father for the first time, the Indian cricket captain had said that he had no plans of flying back as he was all set to lead the defending champions in the World Cup.
The 33-year-old Dhoni had said that his country and team continued to be his main priority, at least for now. Asked whether he would rather have been in India, he told reporters, “Not really. I have been blessed with a baby daughter. Mum and daughter both are good. But as of now I am on national duty so I think everything else can wait. The World Cup is a very important campaign."
The couple got married five years ago on July 4, 2010, at Dehradun away from the glare of the media.
