The Australian team arrived in Kolkata yesterday and probably have the day off today before they train tomorrow for Thursday's second IODi against India. And opening batsman David Warner, who is here with wife Candice and daughters, Indy Rae and Ivy Mae, is planning to head out to soak in the sights in the City of Joy.
But he obviously doesn't know much about the region, so he posted this family photograph online and asked his social media followers to help him out. "Good morning from Kolkata. What's the best places to visit while we are here?? Please #kolkata," he wrote to his 1.3 million Instagram followers. And pat came the replies.
"Check out the new Salt Lake Stadium," said one follower. Another well wisher added: "Take the family to the Victoria Memorial and Mother Teresa's memorial. Great pieces of history in Kolkata." A third said: "Hey, don't forget the iconic Howrah Bridge."
