Daredevils reached the target in 17.1 overs.

The Delhi Daredevils came up with a brilliant bowling performance to restrict Chennai Super Kings to 112 for nine in their 20 over.

Spinner Virender Sehwag struck a double blow after seamers Dirk Nannes and Ashish Nehra put the Daredevils on top with early wickets.

Batting first on winning the toss, the Super Kings lost key wickets of openers Matthew Hayden (1), Murali Vijay (17) and skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni (0) with just 23 runs on the board and never really recovered from there on.

In-form batsman Suresh Raina (15), disturbed from his usual No.3 position, barely fired and his exit in the ninth over, followed by Mike Hussey and Albie Morkel in the following, further restricted the Super Kings.

Subramaniam Badrinath (30) was the top scorer for the hosts, but he could not accelerate the scoring rate that was more a leisurely stroll in the park.
