Indian team manager Arshad Ayub said from Brisbane on Saturday: "We have not registered any complaint with the match-official or with Cricket Australia (CA) and we don't intend to do so either.
"We only wanted to clarify why overnight batsman Shikhar Dhawan did not join Cheteshwar Pujara when the play began today."
The Indian team management was unimpressed with practice pitches on which Dhawan and Virat Kohli suffered injuries
WAGs to join team
After losing their sixth consecutive Test in Australia since 2011, the players will be joined by their wives and girlfriends.
"Yes, a few of them (WAGs) are joining the team," Ayub confirmed. However, he didn't reveal the names of players whose family members are leaving for Australia.
Sakshi Dhoni and Anushka Sharma's presence for the remaining two Tests in Melbourne and Sydney is not confirmed but Karn Sharma's wife is likely to join him. This was confirmed by the player's father Vinod Sharma.
