The Ashes is all set to have a glamourous and intoxicated first, if we can call it that. Brisbane's Gabba, the venue for the first Ashes Test between Australia and England which begins on Thursday, will see bikini-clad fans enjoying alcohol and a swim by the boundary line. Cricket Australia installed a swimming pool - 8x6 metres, with a capacity of 32,000 litres - at the Gabba last winter in a bid to draw more fans to the game. The pool side has two large decks with loungers lined up and fans can soak in the cricket while at the same time, sip on beer and bite on a burger on sale in the food stalls at hand. What fun, na?
