Not sure whether it's because of the football fever gripping the world or it's simply the attraction towards Shakira, but the Colombian singer's La La La music video according to music-news.com, "has achieved an incredible 36.6 million video views across Vevo in just five days, making 'La La La (Brazil 2014)' the second most viewed video on the platform this year in the same time period."

Shakira also holds the Vevo record for the most viewed video (over five days) this year, with her hugely popular video for 'Can't Remember To Forget You'

The video's popularity could also be attributed to Shakira joining hands with Activia at the launch to support the World Food Programme (WFP) which aims for a zero-hunger world.

Shakira and Activia will donate funds to support the WFP's School Meals Programme that helps deliver 3,000,000 additional school meals to support good nutrition and education for kids in developing countries.

Watch and engage
In partnership with Shakira and Activia, the video platform has facilitated viewers to "watch and engage" with Shakira and the video in support of the World Food Program.

Another video that is popular on cyber space is the Pitbull-posted music video for the 2014 World Cup, 'We Are One…(Ole Ola)' which features Jennifer Lopez and Claudia Leitte, a Brazilian pop singer.

But Billboard.com said: "Although Brazilian Claudia Leitte is also featured in the official theme, critics say they don't understand why Cuban-American rapper Pitbull and Bronx-born Puerto Rican singer Jennifer Lopez were chosen for the song when there are so many other great musicians in the land of Bossa Nova."

While there'll always be two opinions on any issue, you make up your mind which of the two World Cup videos earn your approval.
