Match referee Chris Broad imposed the fine after Bangladesh were ruled to be one over short of the target when time allowances were taken into consideration.

As per the rules, Mashrafe was fined 20 percent of his match fee while the other players received 10 percent fines, reports bdnews24.com. Bangladesh bowed out of the showcase event losing the match by just one run.
