The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) inadvertently forgot to include India's limited-overs middle-order batsman Suresh Raina in the central contracts released yesterday.

The southpaw was demoted to Grade B, but the BCCI forgot to list his name on its official website. The news also sent jitters in the Uttar Pradesh team, which are playing a Ranji Trophy match against Mumbai at the Wankhede Stadium.

The error was quickly rectified and Raina was mentioned in the Grade 'B' list.
