Bulawayo: Afghanistan sealed a historic Twenty20 series win over Zimbabwe after the Asghar Stanikzai-led side beat the hosts by five wickets at Queens Sports Club to win the series 2-0 here yesterday.

Their T20 triumph came four days after winning a one-day international series 3-2 over Zimbabwe.
Afghanistan now becomes the first Associate nation to defeat a Test-playing country in ODI and T20I series.
Zimbabwe put up 190-7 in 20 overs, thanks to a quickfire half-century by Sean Williams (26-ball 54) and Richmond Mutumbami's 33-ball 43.
Opener Usman Ghani (65 off 45 balls) and Gulbadin Naib's unbeaten 31-ball 56 helped Afghanistan defeat the hosts with one ball to spare.
