"I have no plans to act in movies in the future. Making movies don't interest me either. So, no more working in movies after this," Steyn told Sunday mid-day yesterday.
Steyn will guest star alongwith some big names in the world of entertainment and sport, like actors Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore, and former NBA superstar Shaquille O'Neal, in the film that releases on May 30.
The film is reportedly about a couple (Sandler & Barrymore), who are previously married and have children, being forced to live together after a blind date.
About landing the role, Steyn said: "They wanted a professional cricketer to act and a bodyguard, who is also a South African, suggested my name.
So, I got a call from them and agreed to fly over to America to be a part of the movie. I was anyway injured after returning from the Champions Trophy in England last year and had a three-week gap. It was a a lot of fun."
Finally, given Steyn has such a huge fan following in India and is here for the IPL anyway, could Bollywood interest him? "Bollywood, no… not at all," he signed off.
