Neil Warnock insists Anton Ferdinand remains unaffected by the continuing FA investigation into allegations the QPR defender was racially abused by Chelsea captain John Terry.

The QPR manager praised his player for his contribution in the 3-1 defeat at Tottenham on Sunday, the team's first outing since the meeting with Chelsea that triggered the allegations, strenuously denied by Terry.

"He wasn't affected at all," Warnock said. "He was magnificent, I thought, absolutely magnificent. It doesn't affect us at all."

FA officials began the investigation last week but Warnock isn't concerned that the matter remains unresolved.
