Saare jahan se achcha Hindustan hamara! pic.twitter.com/EImPvmllLn
Sachin posted on Twitter, "During my drive on the island inlet of water appeared like the map of India. Saare jahan se achcha Hindustan hamara!"
These were the same words that Indian astronaut Rakesh Sharma had used in 1984 to describe the country from space to then-Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
While this got a lot of positive response from the Twitterati, there were some who thought that it was the perfect chance to troll the legend and get their 15 seconds of fame.
@sachin_rt bhai kuch bhi tweet mat kiya karo.. Apna bhi standard hai.
