Authorities are investigating the matter seriously. Her father, Harish Malhotra, is shocked and upset. He said that before the COVID-19 lockdown, Jyoti used to work in Delhi and made videos at home, but he didn’t know much about her activities. He added that she never told him about her friends or travels and always said she was going to Delhi, not Pakistan. He also mentioned that when the police brought her home recently, she quietly took some clothes and left without saying much. He said he is not well and has been very disturbed for the past few days. He has no demands and said he doesn’t know what will happen next.
