AAP MP Swati Maliwal has strongly criticized the Delhi government following Delhi IAS coaching centre floor incident. Speaking to ANI on July 28, Maliwal called for an FIR against senior government officials and demanded a compensation of Rs 1 crore for the families of those who have died. She expressed frustration that no Delhi government minister, mayor, or official has yet visited the site. Maliwal described the deaths as "murder" rather than a disaster and vowed to raise the issue in Parliament. Swati Maliwal said, “My career is over so why I will lie?” Maliwal, the former chairperson of the Delhi Commission for Women, has alleged she was subjected to physical assault, criminal intimidation, and misbehaviour by Kejriwal’s personal assistant, Bibhav Kumar, on May 13. Kumar was arrested on May 19 by the Delhi Police.

FIR has been filed in the Civil Lines police station of Delhi. The FIR Shockingly revealed the incidents from behind the rooms of Delhi CM's Residence. The Delhi police filed an FIR in connection with the alleged assault on May 16 evening, naming the Delhi CM's personal assistant, Bibhav Kumar. The Civil Lines Police registered a case under sections 354, 506, 509, and 323, among other IPC sections, for offence including assault or criminal force on a woman with intent to outrage her modesty, criminal intimidation, word gesture or acts of intent to insult, and assault.
