The prayer meet for Malaika Arora's father, Anil Mehta, was held at 'Ayesha Manor' in Bandra on Friday evening. Numerous Bollywood stars gathered to pay their respects. Bollywood veteran Amitabh Bachchan has been an advocate for women empowerment. He has lauded women for their achievements and contributions to the society, irrespective of the field. The 75-year-old expressed gratitude upon receiving a present from his daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda. Shweta who recently launched a luxury fashion pret label, in collaboration with designer Monisha Jaising, gifted her father a hoodie from her collection. The 'Piku' actor shared a picture on Instagram handle and wrote, "Girl Power.. the hoodie from #mxsworld.. especially made for me by the girl power of the house.. Shweta" The 'Baghban' star mentioned the same in his blog, which he updates on a daily basis. He wrote, "The daughter presents the 'hoodie' of their stable #mxsworld, and makes her father feel extremely proud.. GIRL POWER.. and there could not be a better day to chose it.. on Rakshabandan."
