At a press conference in Mumbai on November 2, Shiv Sena leader Shaina NC responded to Sanjay Raut's defense of Arvind Sawant, who had made disrespectful comments about her. Raut claimed Sawant didn't need to apologize because she is "imported." Shaina NC criticized Raut, saying that if he thinks the term "maal" is acceptable, it shows his mindset. She also questioned the official position of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), pointing out the contradiction between Sawant's apology and Raut's claim that no apology was needed. “I want to ask Shiv Sena (UBT) about Sanjay Raut's statement. Why the confusion?” she asked, highlighting the inconsistency in their responses to the issue.

The political scene in Maharashtra is steaming up as parties are in the process of declaring their candidate list. Given the political arrangements of a coalition between the parties, the battle is intensifying as parties are battling it out to balance their own interests with those of the allies in the Maharashtra Assembly election 2024 . Maharashtra Congress chief Nana Patole on seat-sharing said, "We will declare the first list tomorrow...More than Maha Vikas Aghadi, there are differences in Mahayuti...The issues on 30-40 seats will be resolved”. Congress leader Nitin Raut said, "Such a situation has always built up with all the alliances that have been formed in the country till this day. It is important to understand that. Every party wants that they should get their rights.” Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut said, "...We have been in politics for years, every party feels that their workers should be made candidates...But this is an alliance. Everyone has the right to speak about their role but when it comes to seat sharing, everyone has to make a few sacrifices and take a step back." On tussle over seat-sharing in Maha Vikas Aghadi, Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena leader Dr Raju Waghmare says, "There is a lot of fight between Congress and Shiv Sena (UBT). Shiv Sena (UBT) thinks they can win more seats and they are even ready to take the seats of alliance partners of Congress and NCP (SCP). Shiv Sena (UBT) is acting in a very arrogant manner...People of Maharashtra are considering us the real Shiv Sena...There is no sympathy base for Shiv Sena (UBT)...Congress has realised this as on the ground Shiv Sena (UBT) is nowhere. So Congress is adamant on its seats..."

Amid the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, former Congress leader Sanjay Nirupam along with his wife and daughter joined Shiv Sena on May 03. Shiv Sena President and Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde welcomed the leader at the party office in Thane. Sanjay Nirupam was expelled from Congress on April 03 for indiscipline and anti-party statements. After the expulsion, Nirupam claimed that the disciplinary action against him came following his resignation from the party’s primary membership. The former MP had left the undivided Shiv Sena nearly two decades ago in order to join Congress.

Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut on Wednesday said Eknath Shinde "himself is Hamas", as he countered the Maharashtra chief minister's comment about Uddhav Thackeray's Shiv Sena faction being capable of joining hands with "Hamas and Lashkar-e-Taiba for their own selfishness". Taking a dig at Shinde and his aide Bharatiya Janata Party, Raut said, "He (Eknath Shinde) is himself Hamas... This shows how many dirty worms the BJP has planted in your mind." CM Shinde at the Dussehra rallt in Mumbai's Azad Maidan said, "You back-stabbed Bal Thackeray by committing dishonesty with his ideological legacy. I won't be surprised if they ally with terrorist groups like Hamas and Lashkar-e-Taiba for their own selfish motives." Thackeray and Shinde, leaders of the split factions of the Shiv Sena, organized separate Dussehra rallies this year in Mumbai for the first time in the history of the party.

INDIA Alliance Coordination Committee meeting ended at NCP Leader Sharad Pawar’s residence in New Delhi on September 13. The 14-member panel discussed a variety of issues including the seat sharing and campaign strategy for the 2024 general elections. The alliance decided that it will soon kick start joint public meetings across India, beginning from Bhopal in the first week of October. Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal while addressing a conference condemned the BJP for vendetta politics against TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee as he was absent from the meeting due to the ED summon. AAP leader Raghav Chadha also shared information and strategies of the INDIA alliance going forward. PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti added that issues of rising prices will also be taken up in the first joint rally. Meanwhile, the BJP had rebuked the Opposition bloc’s meeting, calling it a get-together of an anti-Hindu coordination committee.

BJP conducted a press conference in New Delhi on September 13, where party spokesperson Sambit Patra slammed the INDIA bloc, referring to it as the ‘AHCC’ (Anti-Hindu Coordination Committee). Further, he commented on the meeting called by the INDIA bloc on September 13 at Sharad Pawar's residence in New Delhi, claiming that there is no cooperation and coordination among the alliance's members and that the agenda of the meeting is to discuss various ways to abolish Hinduism. Furthermore, he chastised the alliance's leaders for equating Hinduism with illnesses like Corona, leprosy, and AIDS and labeling it a global threat. “Today (AHCC) Anti-Hindu Coordination Committee meeting is called in Mumbai at Sharad Pawar's home. They will also discuss seat sharing. But before the coordination, the non-coordination and non-cooperation has started... This is not a meeting of campaign or seat sharing... Their only aim is to abolish Hinduism... The meeting is on the same topic... They called Hinduism dengue and malaria, corona, leprosy, and AIDS. They compare Hinduism with such diseases. The first meeting of the Coordination Committee of the I.N.D.I.A. (Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance) is scheduled to take place at NCP chief Sharad Pawar's residence in Delhi on September 13. INDIA bloc held its third meeting in Mumbai on September 01 and announced a 14-member coordination committee. The names of 13 members have been announced; however, the name from TMC is yet to be revealed. TMC had nominated Abhishek Banerjee for the meet, who is being summoned by the ED today. Talking about his summon, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut said BJP is deliberately doing this because they don't want Banerjee to attend the meet.
