Ravichandran Ashwin received a warm welcome at his home in Chennai after announcing his retirement from international cricket. Ashwin shared that he would continue playing for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and might play for as long as possible. He emphasized that while his time as an Indian cricketer had come to an end, he was not done as a player. When asked if retirement was a tough decision, Ashwin said it wasn’t difficult for him. Although it might be emotional for others, he felt relieved and satisfied. The decision had been on his mind for some time, but it was an instinctive choice, and he decided to retire after the 4th day of a match.
