While protest over BPSC paper leak continues, Lok Sabha MP Pappu Yadav on January 07 said that Jan Suraaj Chief Prashant Kishor should enrol himself in any drama show. He also said that he has called for ‘Bihar Bandh’ for January 12. On 6th January, Prashant Kishor was arrested for “illegal” fast unto death and granted unconditional bail shortly after. He has been hospitalised due to dehydration and infection.

He argued that no progress would occur in Bihar until the people are awakened. Kishor stated, "A person who hasn’t listened to the people for two decades won't change in four days. Improvement will only happen when people realize their power and seek a better future for their children. They must look beyond religion, caste, and freebies and focus on a better future".

The protests continue demanding the cancellation of the recent Bihar PSC exam which faces allegations of question paper leak. The exam was taken by over five lakh candidates on December 13.

In an interview with ANI, he said the protest would continue and criticized Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Kishor accused Nitish Kumar of caring more about staying in power than the welfare of the people. He stated that despite working in Bihar for over two years, his efforts are labeled as politics. Kishor also mentioned that Nitish Kumar did not help people during the COVID crisis, focusing only on retaining power. The students protesting in Patna are calling for the cancellation of the BPSC's Integrated Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination 2024.

He clarified that the police did not use force, or perform a lathi-charge, until he was present at the scene. He emphasized that he was not responsible for the situation escalating. Additionally, he stated that legal action would be taken against the officers who ordered the use of force against the protesting aspirants. 30 December,2024 05:40 PM ISTElection strategist Prashant Kishor on Tuesday hit out at Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar saying he neither has the party nor an image to be a convener of INDIA alliance. The remarks came of the Opposition bloc meeting this week in Mumbai. Nitish had reiterated that his drive to forge opposition unity was prompted by "no personal ambitions" and that he would like someone else to be made convener of the opposition coalition INDIA. The 26-party opposition alliance, which has been formed to jointly take on the ruling BJP at the Centre in 2024 Lok Sabha polls, have already met twice – first in Patna on June 23 and then in Bengaluru on July 17-18. The opposition bloc is set to hold its third meeting in Mumbai on August 31 and September 1 for further talks. Congress leader Nana Patole said the logo for the INDIA alliance will be unveiled soon.
