NDA Meeting: PM Modi slams Opposition, INDIA Bloc at key meeting

In a key NDA meeting, PM Narendra Modi mocked the Opposition INDI Alliance saying that the Opposition Alliance could not defeat them before, nor at this Lok Sabha Elections. “The Opposition tried to keep us in the shade of defeat. But this never works. All citizens know that ‘na hum hare the, na hare hai’. Our behaviour after the 4th shows our identity that we know how to digest victory. Our values are such that we do not develop frenzy in the lap of victory and neither do we have the values of mocking the defeated,” said PM Modi.

Following the announcement of election results, a crucial NDA gathering convened at the Prime Minister's residence on June 5. During this assembly, Narendra Modi emerged as the unanimous choice to lead the NDA alliance. Notable attendees included JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, alongside other key figures like Chirag Paswan and Ekanath Shinde. Post-meeting, PM Modi engaged in informal discussions with NDA partners, particularly garnering attention for his exchange with CM Nitish Kumar, which circulated widely on social media. Anticipation surrounded Nitish Kumar potentially shifting allegiance, amidst BJP's near-majority situation. Yet, Naidu and Nitish's presence underscored NDA's strength, solidified by the Lok Sabha's resounding mandate of over 290 seats. Sources indicate NDA's formal submission of support to the President on June 7, paving the way for Narendra Modi's historic third term inauguration on June 8.
