Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), infamous for its notorious attempts of waging asymmetrical war against India, once again bit the dust as its major ‘honey-trapping’ bid was foiled in Gujarat and a man was arrested in the case. This time, an ISI was eyeing information on India’s one of the most advanced missile system, BrahMos. A Pakistani agent, posing as a girl from Chandigarh, ‘honey-trapped’ Indian man Pravin Mishra through Facebook. Who is Pravin Mishra? Pravin Mishra, an aeronautical engineer by profession, worked at a factory in Gujarat’s Ankleshwar. The company supplied synthetic chemical to Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO). The Pakistani agent, who was in pursuit of sensitive details related to BrahMos, befriended Mishra through social media and attempted to persuade him to leak information. While Pravin shared some details with ISI, Indian intel agencies were quick to nab him. Pravin has now been arrested and FIR has been registered. The further probe is underway.
