Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s security has been heightened. His balcony has been covered with bulletproof glass. This security upgrade comes after 9 months since firing incident outside his residence in Mumbai. The balcony of Salman’s ‘Galaxy Apartment’ are now bulletproof giving up the security boost to his residence. The bulletproof glasses were installed months after the killing of former Maharashtra MLA Baba Siddique’s killing in October. Notably, since Nov 2022, Salman Khan's security level has been elevated due to threats from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Salman has also been authorised to carry a personal firearm and has acquired a new armoured vehicle for added protection. About a year ago Salman also added a brand new bulletproof ‘Nissan Patrol SUV’ due to continuous threats.

The victim has been identified as Mohammad Tabrez Ansari. CCTV footage from the crime scene showed the suspect wearing a mask approaching the victim, Ansari, before opening fire. After committing the act, the suspect is seen fleeing the scene. According to the police, Ansari was a witness in a serious crime owing to which he had been receiving threats for the past few days. 04 January,2025 04:52 PM ISTTwo unidentified assailants on a motorcycle opened fire at an individual in Sanpada, near D-Mart, on Friday morning. The incident occurred around 9:30 am when the assailants fired five to six rounds before fleeing the scene. Witnesses quickly alerted the police, and officers arrived to investigate. The victim, whose identity is yet to be revealed, was rushed to a nearby hospital. According to DCP Amit Kale from the Navi Mumbai Crime Branch, the injured person's condition is stable. While performing his duty as a ‘sevadar,’ Badal, who was sitting in a wheelchair with a fractured leg, was shot at by an assailant. The bullet missed, hitting a wall instead, and Badal escaped unhurt. The attacker, identified as Narain Singh Chaura, was quickly overpowered by people present at the scene and handed over to the police. Authorities have confirmed that security arrangements were in place, and the attacker’s attempt to cause harm was unsuccessful. Badal, who is serving a religious penance for alleged misdeeds during the SAD government, was offering ‘seva’ as part of a punishment issued by Sri Akal Takht Sahib. 04 December,2024 11:29 AM ISTDRDO successfully tested another Pinaka Weapon System. DRDO flight tests of Guided Pinaka Weapon System as part of Provisional Staff Qualitative Requirements (PSQR) validation trials. The flight tests have been conducted in three phases at different field firing ranges. PSQR parameters and rate of fire for multiple target engagement in a salvo mode have been also assessed by extensive testing of rockets. Earlier, French Army officer revealed evaluating the Indian Pinaka multi-barrel rocket launcher systems for their requirements. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh complimented DRDO and the Indian Army for the successful PSQR Validation Trials. He stated that the induction of this Guided Pinaka Weapon System will further boost the artillery firepower of the Armed Forces. The Pinaka MBRL is developed by the DRDO and produced by agencies including Solar Industries, L&T, and Tata. The rocket system which can hit targets at 75 kilometres and beyond with its multiple variants has already been an export success.
