02 June,2020 09:30 AM ISTCyclone Nisarga is expected to make a landfall near Mumbai and its adjacent areas on June 3. According to the IMD, a deep, low pressure depression that was formed in the Arabian Sea intensified into a severe cyclonic storm that hit the coastal areas of northern Maharashtra and southern Gujarat between Harihareshwar in Raigad and Daman. While the coastal town bore the brunt of the cyclonic storm Nisarga, the cyclone didn't do much damage to life and man-made structures in Mumbai, though hundreds of trees collapsed across the city.
