On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Mexico's first President-elect Claudia Sheinbaum, and said that it is a momentous occassion for the country's people. Earlier, US President Joe Biden had also congratulated Claudia Sheinbaum on her historic presidential win as Mexico's first woman to lead the country's government.
