The tragic fire incident took the lives of 10 innocent newborn babies who were admitted to the NICU ward. Visuals from outside the medical college showed panic-struck patients and their caretakers. Heartbreaking visuals showed relatives wailing for the children who died in the accident. As per hospital officials, there were 54 infants admitted to the NICU ward, and several infants trapped have been rescued.
