The Padma Awards 2024 ceremony saw many distinguished personalities receiving the prestigious Padma awards from the President of India. President Droupadi Murmu conferred the Padma Shri Award to Mithun Chakraborty on April 22. He was conferred with Padma Shri in the field of Art.

Notable Marathi director Rajdutt, acclaimed music director Pyarelal Sharma, and former Union minister and governor of Uttar Pradesh Ram Naik are among the other prominent recipients of the Padma Awards 2024. A wide range of professions, including sports, medicine, literature, education, trade, industry, and social service, are among the recipients of the Padma Shri award.
