In the ongoing investigations into the Salman Khan House firing incident, shocking details have emerged. A probe revealed that the shooters targeted Salman Khan during Eid at his Panvel farmhouse; but plan was foiled as Eid bash was cancelled due to a recent family wedding. The Mumbai Crime Branch recovered four magazines and 17 live rounds from Tapi River in Surat. In a shocking incident, two unidentified men opened fire outside actor Salman Khan's residence in Bandra earlier this month. During investigations, the accused admitted to throwing the guns into the Tapi River in Gujarat's Surat after firing outside Salman's Galaxy Apartment home.

As Ramadan comes to an end, Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations kick in across the country. Muslims across the country gathered at religious places to offer Eid prayers. An air of festivity and celebration was palpable at Delhi’s iconic Jama Masjid on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. Devotees filled the Jama Masjid in bright attires on April 11 to offer prayers on Eid. In Mumbai, devotees gathered at Mahim Masjid to offer ‘namaz’ on Eid-ul-Fitr. Devotees in MP’s Bhopal offered Eid prayers at Eidgah with family and friends.
