On October 26, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) conducted precise airstrikes on Iranian military targets, marking a significant escalation in the ongoing Middle Eastern conflict. The IDF claimed to have targeted key facilities involved in Iran's missile production, specifically those manufacturing solid fuel for long-range ballistic missiles. Reports indicated that the strikes also impacted a building linked to Iran's defunct nuclear weapons program, as assessed by experts from the Washington think tank CNA. This wave of attacks was a direct response to Iran's missile assault on Israel on October 1, which involved over 200 missiles. While Israel maintains its position of targeting Iranian capabilities and proxy assets, Iran downplayed the strikes, with its Foreign Ministry accusing Israel of exacerbating regional tensions. This exchange highlights the ongoing volatility and complex dynamics in the region.
27 October,2024 06:00 PM ISTAmid rising tensions in the Middle East, speculation about a potential nuclear test by Iran has emerged following a 4.5-magnitude earthquake in Semnan province. Reports from The Cradle suggest that the seismic event may indicate Iran's preparation for its first nuclear test, potentially as a response to Israeli threats against its nuclear and oil facilities. Iranian sources have indicated discussions at high levels regarding this possibility. Former US President Trump recently urged President Biden to consider strikes on Iran’s nuclear sites, coinciding with Israel's plans to target Iranian oil bases after missile attacks from Iran on October 1. Following these developments, the Israeli Defense Forces have warned of "severe consequences" for Iran and intensified military operations in Lebanon. This escalation comes as hostilities between Israel and Iranian proxies have intensified since Hamas's attack on Israel last October.

25 September,2024 03:28 PM ISTAmid ongoing hostilities, Hamas expresses openness to a comprehensive agreement contingent upon Israel ceasing military actions. Ceasefire talks mediated by Egypt and Qatar have repeatedly stalled amid mutual accusations. Despite an International Court of Justice order to cease attacks, Israel continues its offensive in Rafah. Hamas cites aggression, siege, and alleged genocide as reasons for halting negotiations. They propose a prisoner exchange as part of a broader peace deal. The global "All eyes on Rafah" trend highlights solidarity with Gaza, countered by Israel questioning past attention. Israel, perceiving Hamas as a threat, rejects previous offers, focusing its offensive on rescuing hostages and targeting Hamas militants. Gaza's Health Ministry reports nearly 36,000 Palestinian casualties. Israel initiated the operation following Hamas-led attacks on southern Israeli communities on Oct 07. Watch video for more.
