In another terror attack within Pakistan, 36 people lost their lives and 29 were left wounded in northwestern Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Gunmen opened fire on passenger vehicles in a tribal area, claiming lives of several people, in which the death toll is likely to rise. Officials have confirmed that the gunmen targeted passenger vans travelling from Parachinar in Kurram in a convoy. Notably, no terror groups have claimed the responsibility of the major attack, that leaves the officials in despair. A recent surge has been observed in the violent and terror attacks in the Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region of Pakistan. Earlier on November 19, 12 Pakistan soldiers were killed in a suicide bombing incident by Islamist militants. The attack occurred in the northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province when militants rammed an explosives-laden vehicle on a wall of a military outpost. Notably, the province, which borders Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is critical to Chinese Belt and Road projects and has recently seen a spike in attacks.

Five people lost their lives, and fifteen others were injured when a double-decker bus collided with a truck on the Yamuna Expressway in Aligarh on the night of November 20th, Wednesday. The bus, traveling from Delhi to Azamgarh, was overtaking another vehicle when it crashed into a truck carrying glass items. The accident occurred in the Tappal area of Aligarh, where visibility was significantly reduced due to fog, increasing the likelihood of accidents. The bus, operated by Krishna Travels, a company based in Faizabad, was heading towards Azamgarh when the tragic incident took place. The bodies of the deceased passengers have been sent for post-mortem, while the truck involved in the accident has been seized by the police. Following the accident, police teams rushed to the scene and initiated rescue and relief operations. The injured passengers were quickly transported to a nearby hospital, where they are receiving treatment. Legal proceedings have been started in connection with the incident. In a tragic incident, 10 newborns lost their live in a fire at the hospital. A massive fire broke out at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) of Jhansi Medical College late November 15 evening. The tragic fire incident took the lives of 10 innocent newborn babies who were admitted to the NICU ward. Visuals from outside the medical college showed panic-struck patients and their caretakers. Heartbreaking visuals showed relatives wailing for the children who died in the accident. As per hospital officials, there were 54 infants admitted to the NICU ward, and several infants trapped have been rescued.

Union Minister Bandi Sanjay saved a woman a trapped under lorry on the outskirts of Singapur near Huzurabad. He also assured her that he would bear her medical expenses. Divyasree, a woman from Kalleda village in Manakondur Mandal was trapped under a lorry. Hearing her screams, the driver stopped the lorry. Union Minister Bandi Sanjay who was travelling to Mulugu stopped at the scene and rushed to the lorry. He saw Divyasree with her hair caught under the lorry's wheel. She was bleeding from her injuries. Sanjay stopped passing lorries. As per his directions, the locals cut her hair and managed to free her. She was immediately sent to Life Line Private Hospital in Karimnagar. The Union Minister assured the hospital authorities that he would personally bear the expenses for Divyasree's treatment.
