The statement was concurred by allies including Australia, UAE, Saudi Arabia and the EU at the UNGA. However, taking to ‘X’, Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said, campaign in north should end in one scenario - crushing Hezbollah. In separate statement on ‘X’, Foreign Minister Israel Katz also opposed the temporary ceasefire proposal.

The IDF continued to pound Hamas hideouts, including the mystic tunnels, and destroy them PM Netanyahu on Nov 05, rejected calls for a ceasefire in Gaza until all 240 hostages captured by the militants are released. UNGA adopted resolution calling for a humanitarian truce, protection of civilians, upholding legal and humanitarian obligations. He said that no civilised country including India and others will tolerate the horror that unfolded in Israel.
